Solar Panels and Air Source Heat Pump for Upleadon Home

We were delighted to have been chosen by the customers to supply their new home with both Solar Panels and an Air Source Heat Pump installed on their bungalow in Upleadon, Gloucestershire.

Utilising the space on their garage roof we installed 14 285w Solar Panels, all black so that they are aesthetically pleasing to the eye in what is a very scenic and rural location. The electricity provided will go some way to helping keep their electricity bills low and with the addition of a Solar Smart Switch, they will gain value from having free hot water during the summer months as well.

The decision to replace their existing oil boiler was an easy choice to make. The government’s Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) means that their complete heating system will be paid for by the end of the seven year payment period. Economically it makes perfect sense and from an environmental view they are doing their bit by reducing their carbon footprint.

GSM Limited used a Mitsubishi Ecodan 14kW Air Source Heat Pump unit, that requires no internal boiler unit and therefore offers a great space saving feature, as well as a truly effective heating system. Customer comments received shows that they are truly delighted with the heating within the house and the plentiful hot water.

By choosing GSM the customers get a full start to finish install, using all our own staff from plumbers to electricians, so that their home is treated with respect and care. GSM also provide all the assistance in completing the administration side to allow the customers to benefit from the Feed-in-Tariff from the Solar Panels and the RHI payments.
