Heat Pumps to an existing property

Ensuring that a heating system functions correctly and efficiently starts with the great design.

During a survey we will carry out a full room by room heat loss of the property measuring all room dimensions, external walls, windows and the properties construction U Values.

Whilst doing this we also look at your existing heating system to see how best to integrate the proposed heat pump replacement. Our surveyor will happily answer any questions you may have and listen to any design requirements or any future plans for the property.

All our surveyors are employed directly by GSM Ltd and are experienced electrical and heating engineers with the primary goal of designing a system that will work. Under no circumstances will there be any form of hard sell or offers of a “managers discount” if you sign up today.

Our quotations generally take one week to put together. Once they are completed, we will send a hard copy to you and email an electronic copy.

Generally, a survey for an air or ground source heat pump will take between 45mins to an hour.

Solar PV & Battery Storage

As reiterated above all our surveyors are employed directly by GSM Ltd and are experienced electrical and heating engineers with the primary goal of designing a system that will work.

We do not hold large stocks of panels or inverters as we believe each potential site has its own constraints that do not lend themselves to a one size fits all methodology.

With this in mind, each survey is carefully considered, listening carefully to your requirements and offering our expert opinion, taking in considerations of efficiency, aesthetic and viability.

Once a proposed site is agreed we will measure the available area and survey the electrical and structural implications.

All our systems are designed in the office using Auto Cad and PVSOL simulation software. This enables us to select the optimum panels and equipment for the proposed installation.

Newbuild

architects plans we can carry out a full room by room heat loss of the property to EN12831 and MCS guidelines.

From this we can provide the following information for a heating system :-

  • Installation Cost
  • Running Costs
  • Required Radiator Sizes
  • Underfloor Heating Pipe Spacings
  • Plantroom requirements
  • Power Supply Requirements
  • DNO applications for connection

We can provide you with a full turnkey solution offering all suitable technologies, such as Solar PV and battery storage, energy management and smart home electrical installations.
