Solar for Schools: Tewkesbury Youth Centre Project
Tewkesbury Youth Centre is part of a growing movement to adopt Solar for Schools, having partnered with GSM to install a state-of-the-art solar power system. This forward-thinking initiative highlights the Centre’s commitment to sustainability and clean energy. The system includes 63 high-efficiency 455W solar panels and a Solis inverter, generating 25,597 kWh of renewable electricity annually.
This investment in solar is expected to save the Centre over £6,399 per year and cut carbon emissions by 12.8 tonnes. By embracing solar energy, the Youth Centre is leading by example—delivering environmental benefits and financial savings that support long-term sustainability.
