GSM Limited has its own fabrication workshop, and we are rapidly expanding our services both locally and across Gloucestershire. We have just recently built from scratch a bespoke cantilever arm complete with a rotating extract canopy.
The equipment was specified to us by a client and was designed and drawn here at our offices in Newent before being assembled in our fabrication workshop. The specification from the client relates to a foundry where the heavy furnace extract hood needed to be able to swing through 180 degrees whilst still connected to the extract system at the top of the column.
The whole process took our team two weeks to complete, and although weighing in at two tons can be moved with one hand quite easily.
